Guiding principles
South African Airways (SAA) is the leading carrier in Africa, serving 56 destinations, in partnership with SA Express, SA Airlink and its low cost carrier, Mango, within South Africa and across the continent, and nine intercontinental routes from its Johannesburg hub. It is a member of the largest international airline network, Star Alliance. SAA's core business is the provision of passenger airline and cargo transport services together with related services, which are provided through SAA and its wholly owned subsidiaries: SAA Technical; Mango its low cost carrier; and Air Chefs, the catering entity of SAA. SAA is the winner of the 'Best Airline in Africa' Award in the regional category for twelve consecutive years and the winner of ‘Service Excellence Africa' for three years. Mango and SAA hold the number one and number two successive spots as South Africa's most on - time airlines.
South African Airways Cargo
SAA Cargo is the division of South African Airways focusing on airfreight movement worldwide. The division uses belly space of SAA's passenger flights for cargo carriage and also runs a fleet of four dedicated cargo aircraft, namely three Boeing 737-300Fs.

Our Services
SAA Cargo moves general cargo, perishables, courier, express and mail globally. We transport livestock, human remains, dangerous goods, and vulnerable and valuable cargo as part of our special services. We also offer an ad hoc charter service for more urgent deliveries.
SAA Cargo, through its facilities in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, offers cargo handling services to foreign airlines.
Our Service Network
SAA Cargo's committed network spans South Africa, Africa and the world. Our domestic destinations are Johannesburg, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban, East London, George and Bloemfontein. By partnering with feeder airlines and trucking companies we are also able to service areas such as Richards Bay, Kimberley and the surrounding areas.
Regionally, SAA Cargo leverages the passenger network in accessing markets such as Lagos, Accra, Lusaka, Entebbe, Kinshasa, Harare, Luanda, Maputo and Nairobi. A dedicated freighter schedule is also used to provide seamless connectivity for unitised consignments.
SAA Cargo is represented in 12 countries in Asia-Pacific with direct passenger flights to Hong Kong and Perth. The rest of the region is serviced through interline agreements with other carriers.
In Europe, the markets include Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, the UK, Ireland, Spain, Eastern Europe and Nordic countries, while the North and South American markets include Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and the USA.
Finnair is a network airline specialising in passenger and cargo traffic between Asia and Europe. Helsinki's geographical location gives Finnair a competitive advantage, since the fastest connections between many European destinations and Asian megacities fly over Finland. Currently, Finnair serves 15 Asian destinations across 9 countries, to a mix of financial centres and leisure destinations. In addition, from summer 2016 onwards, Finnair will launch new services to Fukuoka in Japan and Guangzhou in China. Finnair also serves 3 North American destinations and approximately 60 destinations in Europe.
Finnair's vision is to offer its passengers a unique Nordic experience, and its mission is to offer the smoothest, fastest connections in the northern hemisphere via Helsinki and the best network to the world from its home markets. Finnair is the only Nordic carrier with a 4-star Skytrax ranking and a member of the oneworld alliance. In 2015, Finnair's revenues amounted to 2,324 million euros and it had personnel of 4,817 at the year-end.
